Beautiful Bespoke Platinum Ring

I visited 1849 Goldsmiths with my white-gold wedding ring/engagement ring and eternity ring. I was not happy with the upkeep of white gold (I didn’t want the hassle of regular dipping to stop them looking yellow) so initially asked if Keith could just re-make all three in platinum.
Instead Keith gave me the option of combining my engagement and eternity rings into one fabulous bespoke design in platinum and I love it!
He is now in the process of making a wedding band shaped to fit snugly next to it, cant wait to see the end results. Highly recommended

Bespoke Wedding Ring

I visited 1849 Goldsmiths for a bespoke wedding ring made up from 2 rings that were my grandparents. I spoke with Keith and showed him an image that I had seen on the net. Keith explained the whole process, showed me designs and also guided me on what would work with the design I had in mind. I decided what I wanted and left my 2 rings with Keith. I received a phone call sooner than I thought to say my ring was ready. I went to collect it and could never of imagined it would look this good. The ring is amazing, thank you Keith. There was even some gold left over which I will be returning to have a ring made for my daughter. Thank you.

Beautiful Engagement Ring

1849 was recommended by a friend from work. Right from the start, Keith was very attentive to my needs. He made careful suggestions and was very good at working my ideas into the design of the ring. I particularly appreciate his patience in putting up with my incessant questions and stubbornness to keep the engagement a surprise (who doesn’t love an engagement in Paris though)!
The finished engagement ring is absolutely beautiful (solitaire diamond platinum ring). My now fiancée has commented a number of times that she couldn’t have designed a more perfect ring herself. For this reason, I’m really glad I made the decision not to buy the ring from the internet. I believe Keith’s consultative approach – which obviously cannot be emulated online – was one of the major reasons why the finished product is so personal and therefore so brilliant. It’s also extremely affordable when compared to high street prices. We will definitely be going back for our wedding rings. Many thanks Keith!

10th Wedding Anniversary NEW wedding rings

1849 was the first goldsmith we found on Google which we thought would do exactly what we wanted. We took some old pieces of gold and showed Keith some ideas. He created a wonderful pair of 22 carat gold rings with diamond studs set into them. They are simply fantastic. Great design, character and quality. We are delighted with them.

My little brother told me last night that you had sorted out my mother’s ring out free of charge. I wanted to have a diamond pendant made for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I was very specific about the design, and to be certain that it was right, much time was spent discussing the detail, creating both a computer and 3D printer version of the piece.
The pendant was made very quickly and was perfect. It looks spectacular and is exactly what I hoped for. The service I received was very personal and extremely helpful.

Went to see Keith in early May. Due to renew our vows after 29 yrs we wanted new rings for the day. With Keith’s input and knowledge he came up with an idea having listened to us and made two wonderful rings out of our old ones and some added white gold. Gary done an excellent job when reducing the size of my engagement ring.It is a plane platinum band with a single diamond – you can’t even notice the cut. It only cost £35 and I received the ring on the same day. Very happy! I would recommend 1849 at Whitefield.
